Myocardial Protection Systems



Gish Biomedical offers several solutions to your Myocardial Protection needs. The newest addition to our product line is the low-prime, easy to use VBC (Vision® Blood Cardioplegia). The VBC comes in multiple configurations and has a compact holder that allows for flexible positioning.

The Straight Shot Blood Cardioplegia system is a single pass unit utilizing our Gish heat exchangers. They are available in multiple ratios and have easy to use holders. One swivels to allow you maximum movement and ideal positioning.

Gish also offers Recirculation Batch Cardioplegia Systems. The CPS unit allows for use of a blood/crystalloid mix or pure crystalloid solution. Multiple accessories ensure that each perfusionist can customize the system to his/her own specifications.
