The GISH Orthofuser®
Autologous Transfusion
The GISH Orthofuser® is a simple system that yields immediate availability of a patient’s shed blood. Autologous transfusion with Orthofuser reduces the risk of transfusion related reactions and infections.
Increased levels of 2, 3 DPG1 strengthen oxygen delivery to tissues and help provide hemodynamic support.
Additionally, the GISH Orthofuser® reduces the patient’s dependence on banked blood and assures autologous blood supply throughout postoperative recovery.
The Orthofuser system includes:
