VISION™ CAPVRF44D Hard-Shell Venous Reservoir

The Vision Oxygenator System incorporates the full featured CAPVRF44D hard-shell venous reservoir. With its abundant capacity and anti-vortex outlet, the CAPVRF44D allows for easy set-up and operation without compromising visibility. This fully functional, 4.4 liter, hard-shell venous reservoir with integral cardiotomy can be converted for post-operative pleural drainage and autotransfusion. The extended application of the CAPVRF44D accommodates your patients' volume requirements while optimizing operating costs.

The unique omni-directional holder is designed with an additional dimension to optimize your field of view. The ability to see the many components utilized during a procedure has always been a part of product development at GISH Biomedical, Inc.

The TruVision™ SVR19S2 Venous Reservoir Bag
The TruVision softshell venous reservoir bag offers the first choice in safety and ultimate flow dynamics.  With its ability to adjust to volume demands, the TruVision reservoir bag quickly responds to prevent air embolism with its unique solid compartmental 105 micron screen polyester filter and soft-shell design.

The TruVision reservoir bag addresses two primary goals:  The gentle handling of blood and its effective air separation .

A flow director ridge at the base of the reservoir insures air separation from blood, aids in the quality of blood mixing, and adds strength to the unit’s design.  With the demands of a closed system, every aspect of patient safety is considered.

To enhance air handling capability, two dual-luered large bore sampling ports (one filtered; one non-filtered) are incorporated at the top of the reservoir, providing excellent venting and the quick recovery of any emboli that may occur.  The atraumatic 105-micron polyester screen filter addresses patient safety considerations.  Particulate matter that may enter the system is immediately trapped and prevented from exiting the bag to the patient.

The ease of use and setup of the TruVision reservoir bag is enhanced by its unique holder.  Flexibility to handle virtually any volume related situation is assured.

Its two distinct features - a clear face plate which controls the incremental 400 ml, 1000 ml, 1600 ml, open 1900 ml volume and an adjustable tensioning device installed in the back plate of the holder - provide for choices in volume management.

The corner to corner tensioning design (exclusive only to GISH) improves volume control.  A control knob located at the side of the holder allows for incremental adjustments to soften or tension the venous reservoir, preventing blood stasis or pooling.

SVR11S2...
The Perfect Addition to Your Closed Circuit

The SVR11S2 Vision® reservoir bag is a perfect addition to your closed circuit. It provides a low prime volume and efficient air separation without sacrificing flow dynamics. With its ability to adjust to volume demands and its unique compartmental filter, this softshell venous reservoir bag provides the performance and safety today’s perfusionist demands.

The ease of use of the GISH Vision® SVR11S is enhanced by its unique holder. The holder allows for handling volumes from 350 mL to 1050 mL. With its center mount, rear holder attachment, the holder allows for easy placement on the right or left side of the heart-lung machine. The adjustable face plate allows control of fluid volume with 350 mL, 575 mL, 825 mL and 1050 mL (open) settings. Openings in the face plate and back plate of the holder allow for easy placement of level sensors on the reservoir bag.

To enhance air handling capability, two dual-luered large bore purge ports (one filtered; one non-filtered) are incorporated at the top of the reservoir and provide excellent venting. This allows for quick removal of any air that may be introduced. Additional considerations for patient safety resulted in the atraumatic 105 micron polyester filter screen. Particulate matter that may enter the system would be immediately trapped and prevented from exiting the bag to the patient.
