STATSAT
Simplicity And Digital Accuracy Make A Graphic Difference.

The GISH STATSAT system raises oxygen saturation and hematocrit measurement to a new level of sophistication and greatly simplifies perfusion management.  STATSAT measures venous and hemoglobin in-line, using advanced optical reflectance technology and microprocessor-controlled digital signal processing.  All values are displayed numerically, while trends in oxygen saturation are shown graphically.  STATSAT offers Perfusionists remarkable responsiveness and accuracy, surprising simplicity, improved patient safety and cost-effectiveness.
STATSAT is the right choice for quality perfusion management.  Responsiveness and accuracy allow it to report an oxygen saturation change as small as 0.2% in just 3 seconds.

The GISH STATSAT System:  Advanced Technology Made Simple.
STATSAT’s advanced design eliminates the six leading sources of inaccuracy found in other oxygen saturation analyzers.  Now small sample error, analog signal distortion, equipment malfunction, indirect measurement error, room lighting interference and poor coupling are part of the past.

STATSAT digitally measures an astonishing number of samples.  Each three-second oxygen saturation and hematocrit update is based on 13,500 discrete measurements.
STATSAT features digital electronics for error-free signal processing.
STATSAT continuously tests itself.  A trending graph immediately shows any perfusion deficit resulting from other equipment failures.
STATSAT measures oxygen saturation directly, eliminating the effects of changing hemoglobin oxygen affinity (p50) caused by ordinary shifts in pH and temperature.
STATSAT measure and compensates for operating room lighting, eliminating ambient light interference.
STATSAT offers consistent probe-cuvette coupling.

Highly Versatile and Easy to Use
STATSAT is designed for the Perfusionist.  System set-up is two simple steps:  connect cables and power up, and there’s no more warm-up delay.  The system also tests and calibrates itself, so calibration cells, reagents and gas tanks are eliminated. And STATSAT is so flexible, it works with any extracorporeal circuit and can be used in more locations on the perfusion console, thanks to a compact design and an easy to read display.

Safe
STATSAT is a noninvasive, true trending device.  Neither electronics nor optics contacts the blood.  Trend charting oxygen saturation allows more enlightened perfusion management.

Cost-Effective
STATSAT’s cost-effective design helps meet new cost-containment concerns.  Flexible pricing and acquisition plans makes STATSAT as easy to own as it is to use.
