ATR2900DF Reservoirs
Autologous Transfusion Reservoir, 2900ml
GISH ATR2900DF cardiotomy reservoirs are designed to defoam, filter and collect suctioned blood during cardiopulmonary bypass and general surgical procedures. Postoperatively, the ATR2900’s chest drainage port and optional water seal/water manometer offer pleural drainage and autotransfusion capabilities.
Intraoperative
The ATR2900DF is a true 2900 ml function capacity reservoir. Fluid enters the ATR2900DF through 4 sucker ports, a quick prime port, 1 non-filtered and 2 filtered luer ports. Suctioned blood quickly passes through a defoamer and depth filter to remove unwanted microemboli without the hold-up of vital cellular components or fluids.
Postoperative
ATR2900DF series reservoirs are also indicated for postoperative autotransfusion. As the first cardiotomy designed for use with a water seal/water manometer, shed blood is safely filtered, collected and transfused to maintain the patient’s hemodynamic balance. This closed system approach reduces banked blood requirements and minimizes the risks of blood borne pathogens.
The perioperative use of an ATR2900DF series reservoir eliminates the need for a separate pleural drainage system, reducing operating expenses.

Cell Salvage Reservoirs
Intraoperative Blood Recovery/Pleural Drainage/Autotransfusion/3500 Ml
The GISH CAP35DF series reservoirs are available for cell salvage applications. In addition to removing surgical debris from intrathoracic suctioned blood, each reservoir has been designed for post-operative drainage and autotransfusion.
Intraoperative
CAP35DF series reservoirs are fully compatible with any cell saver. Each reservoir has four 1/4" inlets, a 3/8" outlet and pressure relief valves. With the GISH Anticoagulation and Aspiration Kit, suctioned blood is easily drawn into the reservoir in preparation for cell saver processing.
Postoperative
Each CAP35DF reservoir is equipped with a 3/8" chest drainage port. After filling the water seal/water manometer and priming the infusion pump and IV tubing, shed blood is continuously collected and reinfused. Operating costs are reduced and the patient’s fluid levels are maintained without relying on banked blood.
If your cell saver demands one reservoir and your patient’s postoperative blood salvage requirements dictate another, let one GISH reservoir handle both needs.
